Classification of joint bearings: radial spherical plain bearings, angular touch joint bearings, thrust joint bearings, rod end joint bearings.
First, the joint bearing is based on different classification methods; the direction of the load that can be accepted or the nominal touch angle is different; it is divided into the following categories.
1. Radial spherical plain bearings are used to accept radial loads; their nominal touch angles range from 0 degrees to 45 degrees; they are different according to their nominal touch angles; they can also be divided into:
a. Radially touched radial spherical plain bearings have a nominal touch angle of 0 degrees. They are suitable for receiving radial loads. But they can also accept radial loads together; accept small axial loads.
b. Angular joint bearing with a nominal touch angle greater than 0 degrees; but less than or equal to 45 degrees; a combined load that can accept the effects of radial load and axial load.
2, thrust joint bearings are used to accept axial load; its nominal touch angle is greater than 45 degrees to 90 degrees; different according to the nominal touch angle; can be divided into:
a. Axial touch thrust joint bearing with a nominal touch angle of 90 degrees thrust joint bearing; suitable for accepting pure axial load.
b. Angular touch thrust joint bearing nominal touch angle greater than 45 degrees; but less than 90 degrees thrust joint bearing; suitable for receiving axial load; but can also accept combined load (at this moment its radial load value should not be greater than the axial load of 0.5. Times).
Second, the joint bearing is divided according to the layout of its outer ring:
a. Full-circle joint bearing,
b. Double semi-outer ring joint bearing,
c. Single-slit outer ring joint bearing,
d. Double seam outer ring (split outer ring) joint bearing.
Third, the joint bearing can be attached to the rod end or mounted on the rod end:
a. Usually joint bearing,
b. Rod end joint bearing.
Fourth, the joint bearing can be compensated for by the smoothing agent according to its operation:
a. Non-self-smooth joint bearing,
b. Self-smooth joint bearing.
5. Joint bearings are classified according to the direction in which they can accept the load, the nominal touch angle and the layout type:
a. Radial spherical plain bearings,
b. Angular touch joint bearing,
c. Thrust joint bearing,
d. Rod end joint bearing.
Joint bearings are widely used in various construction machinery, water conservancy and electric power and other equipment with steering organization.
