What is the standard for fire hose design?

Introduce the concept of fire hoses before introducing fire hose standards. Fire hoses are hoses used to transport high-pressure water or foam-resistant liquids such as foam. The traditional fire hose is lined with rubber and the outer surface is covered with linen weave. Advanced fire hoses are made of polymeric materials such as polyurethane. The fire hose has metal fittings at both ends. It can be connected to another hose to extend the distance or connect the nozzle to increase the liquid injection pressure.
Fire hose standard
The fabric layer of the water belt should be evenly woven and the surface clean and tidy; without jumping double warp, broken double warp, hopping and scratching.
The thickness of the hose lining (or cover) should be uniform and the surface should be smooth and flat, free of wrinkles or other defects.
The nominal size and tolerance of the inner diameter of the hose shall comply with the requirements of Table 1.
The length and dimensional tolerances of the hose shall comply with the requirements of Table 2.
The design working pressure and pressure resistance value of the water belt shall not be lower than those specified in Table 3.
The water pressure of the design working pressure is 0.8MPa, 1.0MPa, 1.3MPa, 1.6MPa, and the mass per unit length should not exceed the requirements of Table 4.
The water pressure of the design working pressure is 2.0MPa and 2.5MPa, and the mass per unit length should not exceed the requirements of Table 5.
The water pressure of the design working pressure is 0.8MPa, 1.0MPa, 1.3MPa, 1.6MPa, and the axial elongation and diameter expansion rate should not exceed 5% under the design working pressure. The design of working water pressure of 2.0MPa, 2.5MPa water belt, the axial elongation and diameter expansion rate should not exceed 8% under the design working pressure.
Under the action of water pressure, the water belt should not be twisted counterclockwise when viewed in the direction of water flow. Under design work pressure, the torsion should not exceed the requirements of Table 6.
Under a water pressure of 0.8 MPa, the water belt is bent into an outer radius as defined in Table 7, and the inner side of the curved portion should be free from wrinkles.
