The cylinder liner is a key component of diesel locomotives, which requires high mechanical strength and geometric accuracy and is difficult to process. In the work, the author often analyzes and handles the problem of the tolerance of the inner hole of the cylinder liner assembly and the outer surface of the positioning outer cylinder and the quality of the leakage of the sealing surface of the cylinder liner during use. The following is a description of several issues raised above. 1. Proposal of the problem The following table shows the statistics of the quality problems of the 3840 cylinder liners during production and use from January 1993 to December 2000.
