Analysis of Casting Process of B Grade Steel to K2 Side Frame
In this paper, the structural characteristics of the K2 side frame and the difficulty of the casting process are analyzed. The casting process plan and main process parameters are determined. The riser, cold iron, lower core sample and casting system are designed. Through trial production, the following experience is summarized: the side A and the patio platform of the K2 side frame should be provided with side risers for feeding; according to the structural characteristics of the K2 side frame and the classification of characteristics, the individual key sizes should be dealt with in the selection of the scale. Make adjustments and take a 2% scale. The casting anatomy inspection, dimensional inspection, sample inspection and dynamic and static load tests are all qualified. According to the finished product processing, the technical requirements are met, and the capacity for mass production is available.
