There are many varieties of shifting shafts in the automobile transmission, and the precision requirements are high. In the process of shifting the transmission shaft, the high efficiency of the special fixture can be achieved with the versatility of the components of the fixture by simple installation and adjustment. The shifting shaft hole processing generally uses ordinary drilling machines, combined machine tools, machining centers and other equipment. Among them, the combined machine tool has high production efficiency and is suitable for mass production. However, the equipment has large investment at one time and long processing adjustment time. It is not suitable for multi-variety, medium and small batch production methods, and has great equipment investment risk. Currently, it is less used; The machining center is easy to adjust and the process is relatively concentrated, but the fixture design and manufacturing requirements are high, and the equipment investment is large, the mass production is relatively high, and the small batch production fixture adjustment is cumbersome. Currently, the application is not extensive; the ordinary drilling machine equipment investment is small, production High efficiency, low operator's operational skills, combined with different fixtures, suitable for large-volume, medium- and small-volume production of different types of enterprises, so it is widely used in the industry. Our factory has been using ordinary drilling machine drilling methods since the 1960s.

At present, the special jigs for transmission miscellaneous parts suitable for the batch method have been explored for several decades. In the increasingly fierce competition for new products, small and medium-sized batch production and new product trial production are still not suitable for traditional methods. The main problems in the shifting shaft drilling fixture are as follows:

1. Special drill fixture

(1) The fixture waits for a long time (the design and manufacturing cycle generally takes 3 to 4 months);

(2) The number of fixtures is large and the cost of use is high (each set of fixtures is designed and manufactured);

(3) The manufacturing cost of the fixture is high (more than 3,000 yuan per set);

(4) As the product life cycle becomes shorter and shorter, the fixture elimination rate is high and waste is large;

(5) The fixture occupies a large amount of inventory and is inconvenient to manage.

2. Combination drill fixture

(1) Frequent fixture rental, long rental period and high cost (the annual rental fee for shaft drills of our factory is about 30,000 to 50,000 yuan);

(2) The fixture has insufficient rigidity, the processing precision is unstable, and the product rejection rate is high;

(3) There are many fixture components, and the assembly precision is low. It is often necessary to repeatedly adjust the production in production, which wastes a lot of time;

(4) The procurement cost of the complete set of fixtures is high.
