Japan's Mitsubishi has developed a face milling cutter that controls the flow of chips

Japan's Mitsubishi Materials Corporation has recently developed a new face milling cutter for machining centers called the Qingdao milling cutter. The Qing type milling cutter adopts the company's self-developed control chip flow direction technology, which can smoothly discharge the chips without the need of a conventional chip suction conveying pipe. This face milling cutter is ideal for machining centers with automatic tool changer (ATC). There are currently three types of products for milling of aluminum, cast iron and steel. The diameter of the milling cutter is 80~160mm. At present, it can only be produced according to the user's order. In the future, it is planned to formulate relevant standards to standardize the product.
