The theme of this event is determined as "This year's theme is "Our Neighbors and Uninvited guests, focusing on the knowledge of the moon and comets.
At about 6 o'clock in the afternoon, we arrived at the destination of seven people in Yulong. When we pulled up the banner, we started to set up a telescope. Most of the people in the association had already concentrated in the northwest corner of Cuihu. At the beginning, everyone’s telescope turned the lens to the top of the sky. More and more people are getting more and more dense. The people in the past have long queued up and have had a good time watching the moon during the day.
This year is the first time that Yulong has participated in the astronomy night of the road. The relevant personnel explained the goal to the public while integrating the products we have made, the astronomical filter, to let everyone know the filter and know Yulong. The moon has a small contrast against the blue sky, but the crater near the light and dark boundary is very clear and impressive. The visual effect is very good. Some citizens use the mobile phone or IPAD on the eyepiece to try to shoot the moon. In order to see the moon more directly, Teacher Yang Xiaohu suggested that we put the camera directly on the adapter ring and shoot the moon on the telescope. I don’t know. The effect was surprisingly good. The surface of the moon was ruined on the camera. Afterwards, the Canon cameras that the public brought themselves all took off the lens and waited to shoot the moon. Jupiter unknowingly rises, everyone has turned the camera, pointing to Jupiter, only to see a brighter one. Through the telescope, everyone saw four satellites around Jupiter, one above, three below. Although small, how many people know that there are still four satellites around Jupiter. When Jupiter is over, Saturn’s post-sense rises, and we slowly turn our target to Saturn. Because the magnification is not enough, Saturn is small in the field of view, but the Saturn ring is still clearly visible, like a khaki hat of. We also tuned the equipment on the sidelines while explaining to the public what it was. The scene was busy and not chaotic, orderly.
During the event, the student army who participated in the finals of the Olympic Games at the end of the month was the most eye-catching. Everyone assembled and set up a new telescope (90EQ) and found the target for the public to observe. The smallest member of the association, Deng Yun, did not observe the moon from the beginning, and opened the yang in the Big Dipper. The other members of the association are also intensively explaining the relevant knowledge to the citizens.
