Ceramic precision grinding batches and efficient processing become a reality

On May 13-14, organized by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, which was hosted by Zhejiang University, was held in Hangzhou.
The “Basic Research on Advanced Ceramic Precision Efficient Processing Technology” hosted by Yuan Julong is the first major project of mechanical science in the Department of Engineering and Materials Science of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, which is independently undertaken by non-“211” universities. During the meeting evaluation, the acceptance expert group composed of 7 experts of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Ren Luquan and the Chinese Academy of Engineering Academician Tan Jianrong as the deputy leader gave high praise to the project, and the comprehensive evaluation was excellent.
The project fully completed the plan and made outstanding progress. It proposed a new method of semi-fixed abrasive grain processing and semi-fixed abrasive design technology with low bond strength and weak plastic deformation, revealing the advanced ceramic materials in the brittle and plastic domains respectively. The processing rule of uniform removal of elastic domain; the semi-fixed abrasive tool with low bond strength and weak plastic deformation property was developed, and its performance detection and evaluation system was established. The spherical full-envelope grinding of eccentric grinding and double-rotation grinding was proposed. The ball principle provides a theoretical basis for solving the technical problems of low ball precision and low ball formation efficiency. The quantitative analysis method of spherical grinding uniformity is established, which provides an effective prediction method for the optimization of the ball processing process; The ball ball processing technology expert database and the ball fixed abrasive grinding technology, chemical mechanical polishing technology, grinding disc in-place trimming and other ceramic ball precision efficient processing key technology, formed a new method of ceramic ball precision high-efficiency batch processing technology; successfully developed based on all-inclusive A new type of precision ball grinding machine that grinds into a ball The bulk ceramic balls efficient processing. During the project research period, the project team published 58 academic papers, including more than 80 articles by SCI and EI; 4 invited reports at international conferences; 1 second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 provincial and ministerial level 1 prize, 1 second prize, 1 third prize; 14 invention patents, 5 invention patents and 5 software copyrights; extensive international academic exchanges and training of a group of doctoral students master.
During the meeting, the leaders of the National Fund Committee and related experts visited the “Key Laboratory of Special Equipment Manufacturing and Advanced Processing Technology of the Ministry of Education” of Zhejiang University, and inspected the “Super Precision Machining Research Center” and “Special Precision of Machinery Industry” where the project team is located. The Key Laboratory of Grinding Technology gives a very high evaluation of the research results and research conditions of Zhejiang University in the direction of ultra-precision processing technology and equipment research.
