Electrode related problems of electromagnetic flowmeter
I. Electromagnetic flowmeter oxidation problem
After the installation of the newly installed electromagnetic flowmeter, the flow rate of the flow is large, and there is no law to find, which is mainly due to the oxidation of the electrode. Conventional electromagnetic flowmeters are calibrated in the factory before leaving the factory. 2. Electromagnetic flowmeter polarization problem

The polarization voltage between the two electrodes is measured and is large, and it can be judged that the polarization of the electrode causes the so-called polarization because an excessive positive or negative charge is attached to the opposite electrode, causing a strong capacitance effect and the current cannot pass normally. That is, the phenomenon that the electrode potential deviates from the equilibrium potential when there is a current.
The polarization of the electrode of the electromagnetic flowmeter is generally not caused by the problem of the material, but by the excitation method. If the electromagnetic flowmeter adopts the method of DC excitation, and the medium flow rate is slow, and the medium has a tendency to corrode, the possibility of polarization is large. The three-value low-frequency rectangular wave excitation technology (with a 1/8 cycle of 50 Hz, using a sinusoidal variation of the excitation current) can eliminate the polarization interference of the DC magnetic field. It has better zero stability and solves the influence of interference potential.
