3.8 fixture design task book

The fixture design task book (Figure 3) is the guidance document for the fixture design and the basis for the final acceptance of the fixture. Therefore, the fixture task book must be approved and signed by Party A.

3.8.1 Prerequisites for preparation

a. The craft card has been compiled and is considered to be feasible and approved by the user.

b. According to the contract and the technical conditions agreed by the owner, such as manual or pneumatic, the source of purchased parts.

3.8.2 Preparation steps

a. According to the process card, understand the assembly sequence, welding sequence, welding tong type, operating position to determine the position of the workpiece, and the height of the work surface, and determine whether the table is fixed or rotatable (horizontal or vertical), whether it needs to be lifted The device for picking up the pieces.

b. Determine the positioning and clamping points of the components into the assembly, and indicate them, giving the serial number.

c. Determine the form of the locating pin and the support clamp and draw the section.

d. Determine the measurement points and calculate their data (theoretical data).

The work station design task book is the guidance document for the design of the station equipment, and is also the basis for the final acceptance of the station equipment; the work station equipment task book must meet the design depth requirements, and must be signed and confirmed by the owner before the station equipment design can be carried out. Explain the name, number, quantity, workpiece placement form, and transportation form of the workpiece. If necessary, draw a sketch and indicate the size.
