To ensure the safe and smooth operation of the cutting machine, various safety preparations must be made before the cutting machine is operated. 1 , check the cutting machine is complete and easy to use to prevent the cutting machine accident. Every day before working hot work, we must first check the cutting machine, mainly check whether the acetylene generator or welding machine is running and using normally, and whether the tempering preventer (including the post-type tempering preventer) maintains a certain water level. Whether the pressure gauge is firm or not, whether the ejector welding or cutting torch has suction force, whether air is mixed in the acetylene generator, and whether unsafe factors are involved in the laying of the arc welding wire.

2. Do a good job in the safety inspection of the cutting operation site, remove all kinds of flammable materials, prevent welding, cut sparks and cause fire accidents. In particular, the temporarily determined cut-off areas should be thoroughly inspected, and the cutting work area must be designated to pull the safety ropes at the work site when necessary. The safety distance between combustibles and cutting operations is generally not less than 10 meters, but the specific circumstances should be specifically treated, such as the size of the wind, the wind direction, the location of the work, welding or cutting. In short, it should be limited to cutting Mars spatter to less than the place where combustibles are piled.

3 , check the internal structure of the cutting piece, remove the flammable and explosive and other combustibles inside the cutting to prevent explosion accidents, which is an extremely important safety preparation before the cutting operation. In particular, for the temporary cutting pieces, we must not think that the work is simple and blindly cut, and it must be possible to eliminate the various unsafe factors.

4 , check the cutting parts of the joints, prevent heat conduction, thermal diffusion and cause fire accidents. Such as cutting all kinds of metal pipes in the building, we must find out what the pipe is, whether there is combustible gas and other substances in the pipe, whether there is pressure, and if there is combustible material and pressure in the pipe, it must not be cut.

5 , in the temporary cutting site, to choose the right place to place acetylene generator, oxygen cylinder or arc welding equipment, these equipment and welding, cutting site should maintain a certain safety distance, in the acetylene generator and welding machine There should be obvious signs such as “ not close to fire ” and “ prevent electric shock ” , and safety ropes should be stopped to prevent unrelated personnel from accessing these equipment. Arc-welded conductors should be laid on passages without flammable materials.

6. Check the fire-fighting equipment and provide necessary fire-fighting equipment to prevent fire accidents. Welding workers must learn the basic methods of fire fighting, understand the basic knowledge of fire fighting, and learn how to use various fire extinguishers.

7. Workers engaged in welding and cutting operations must wear work clothes. In the winter, the warm cotton coat must be sewn, and the cotton wool cannot be exposed to prevent the sparks of Mars from catching fire.
